Andy Nelson was barely of legal drinking age when he and his younger brother Charlie [who wasn’t] embarked on their life’s mission to revive their historic family distilling business. With the opening of the new Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery and Tasting Room in Nashville, the brothers are striding confidently in the footsteps of their 3rd great grandfather Charles Nelson, whose pre-Prohibition enterprise was the leading producer of whiskey in America in the late 1800s.
