MEMPHIS, TN (March 8, 2019) — Spirits & Soul is a two-day festival that brings the Tennessee Whiskey Trail to downtown Memphis as part of the kick-off to the city’s Bicentennial Celebration, A New Century of Soul. From April 26-27, distillers from around the state will join artists, tastemakers and local businesses of South Main Historic Arts District for a weekend of good music, good food, and the finest spirits the state has to offer.

Friday, April 26 | Spirits & Soul Trolley Night

$75 for 1-Day Pass | $100 for 2-Day Pass

A traditional South Main Trolley Night will be transformed into a downtown Memphis civic fair by pairing distillers from the Tennessee Whiskey Trail with storefronts in Memphis’ Historic Arts District. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., walk down South Main Historic Arts District from Main and Talbot to Main and GE Patterson while enjoying samples of local spirits from across Tennessee, live music, food trucks, and a new century of downtown Memphis Soul. Spirits & Soul Trolley Night is free to the public. Spirits sampling is limited by the purchase of your 1-Day or 2-Day Spirits & Soul Festival Pass.

Saturday, April 27 | Spirits & Soul Block Party

$75 for 1-Day Pass | $100 for 2-Day Pass

Continuing the Tennessee Whiskey Trail experience and pre-Memphis Bicentennial Celebration, Old Dominick is hosting a Spirits & Soul Block Party from 12-5 p.m. located just south of the distillery. Enjoy handmade cocktails from each distillery across the state, regional favorite food trucks, and live music. Spirits & Soul Block Party is a ticketed event and cocktail samples are limited by the purchase of a 1-day or 2-day Spirits & Soul Festival Pass.

While the Spirits & Soul Block Party is happening outside, inside Old Dominick there are two distilled spirits seminars:

• 12-1:30 p.m. — Trail Stories with pioneers of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail and a discussion of its economic development impact on the state. Add-on tickets for this seminar are $50 in advance or $75 on the day of the event.
• 2-3:30 p.m. — Cocktail Essentials: Leisure Like a Pro, a fundamentals of classic cocktail class led by spirits and hospitality veteran Andy Acuff, that teaches the simplicity of cocktail creation. Add-on tickets for this seminar are $80 in advance or $100 on the day of the event.
